Moenchengladbach – Toni Kroos revealed Germany were not seeded at the 2020 European Cup. His opinion was based on the Nationalelf squad being inhabited by many young players.
Germany sure won a ticket to the 2020 European Cup Final round. It was obtained after they defeated Belarus 4-0 at Borussia-Park on Sunday (11/17/2019).
Die Mannschaft now tops Group C with 18 points from seven matches. This is the 13th time Germany have qualified for the European Cup finals.
German achievements in this event are fairly classy. They have recorded six times reached the final round with three successfully grabbed the title.
But for the title next year, Kroos revealed that Germany was not the top seed. Because Joachim Loew's squad is currently inhabited by many young players with little experience.
Kroos is one of a handful of players who won the 2016 World Cup that is still in the German team today. It was noted that only he and Manuel Neuer were senior figures who were now still relied on by Loew.
"We still lack experience. But in the prospect of our team working better and better, "Kroos said reported by the official UEFA website.
"We will know to prepare well before the tournament. Right now, I won't consider us a favorite. But that doesn't really matter, "he explained.
